Earlier in the week, it was rumored that Eminem would headline the festival after an Instagram post to his account teased an announcement April 22 concerning an appearance in Texas. “Square Dance with me,” he beckoned, adding a Photoshopped image of a cowboy on a horse, with his face transposed on the original’s head.
The 13th annual festival, which will take place over two weekends once again– this time, Oct. 3-5 and 10-12, will also feature performances from Lorde (she’ll perform only on weekend two), Zedd, CHVRCHES, Iggy Azalea, Icona Pop, Sam Smith, Lana Del Rey, Foster The People, The Replacements, Major Lazer, The Avett Brothers, Spoon, The Head and the Heart, Belle & Sebastian and Interpol.
Tickets for the festival go on sale today (April 22) at 10 am CT.
Last year’s festival featured headlining sets from Depeche Mode, the Cure, Muse and Kings of Leon. The festival began in 2002.
