Watch Brian Williams Cover Snoop Dogg’s ‘Gin and Juice’

By Shannon Carlin

You know what’s harder than being Snoop D-O-double G? Being Brian Williams. It’s not easy reporting the evening news every night. But he makes it look easy. And thanks to Jimmy Fallon, he makes rapping look easy too.

Last night (April 21), on the Tonight Show, Fallon managed to piece together several different clips of Williams reporting the news to look like he’s rapping the Snoop Dogg classic, “Gin and Juice.”

With his robotic newsman lilt he adds a bit of authority to Snoop’s Compton tale of his guests staying until six in the morning, since his momma ain’t home.

He even gets a little help from his field reporters like the Today‘s Natalie Morales and weekend Today’s Lester Holt, along with NBC News’ chief foreign correspondent, Richard Engel who was stationed in some far off land.

But seriously, the lines, “With my mind on my money/And my money on my mind,” never sounded more poignant coming out of the mouth of Brian Williams.
