will.i.am Wants to Make Music with Anne Hathaway

The world may soon hear music from the Black Eyed Peas‘ will.i.am and actress Anne Hathaway. In a radio interview, the Black Eyed Peas frontman says creating music with Hathaway “would be freaking dope.”
“I want to make music with you!” will.i.am said in an interview with Ryan Seacrest. “From Rio 1, I was like, ‘She sings like that?!’ It would be so amazing to do music outside of an animated film. That would be freaking dope.”
The two have been working together on the Rio films, where they voice two of the series’ avian characters. Instead of acting, will.i.am wants to hit the studio and Hathaway is considering.
“I am blushing so hard right now,” she said. “Wow, okay cool, so this day just got that much more surreal.”
So will Hathaway replace Fergie in the Peas? Her thoughts: not likely.
“The thing is, he’s going to get me in the studio and then he’s going to hear me for real, and he’s going to be like, ‘Oh, never mind.’ [I mean] he works with Fergie. That’s like his 9 a.m. meeting. I can’t beat that!”
