UPDATE: A new press release has confirmed the Pittsburgh and Albany dates.
Paul McCartney can’t get enough of America.
After spending a good chunk of 2013 in North America (and around the world) on his long-running “Out There!” tour, the former Beatle has extended the jaunt with the announcement of two American dates for 2014, and promises that more will follow.
According to McCartney’s official website, he’ll be taking his traveling revue to The Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on June 19, followed by a show at the Yum! Center in Louisville, KY, on June 26.
Tickets for these first two of hopefully many U.S. shows go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday, April 9) at 10 am local time for fans registered with PaulMcCartney.com. General ticket sales will kick in on Monday, April 14 at 10am, local time.
The Albany Business Review reports that the legendary singer/songwriter will be performing at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY, on July 5, although that show is yet to be confirmed.
Rumors are also swirling about a July 7 date at Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Arena, but that show is also unconfirmed at press time.
