Eminem Is Working With Spike Lee On New Video

By Courtney E. Smith

Eminem can officially say he’s a part of a Spike Lee joint.

On Saturday (April 7), Eminem dropped on bomb on Instagram, giving fans some key information about his next video. Specifically, the famous man behind the camera.

As Eminem reveals, Spike Lee is directing the video for “Headlights” from The Marshall Mathers LP 2, and even left his beloved city of New York to head over to Em’s hometown of Detroit. Of course, he’s still decked out in Brooklyn duds.

The clip marks the first time we’ve seen Em on the small screen since the release of “The Monster” video, featuring Rihanna, back in December.

“Headlights” is a Jeff Bhasker-produced track with featured vocals and co-writing from fun.’s Nate Ruess.

Eminem will perform live on The Monster Tour with Rihanna starting in August. He’ll also headline Lollapalooza earlier that month.
