For Calvin Harris, Summer 2014 is all about hot cars and even hotter women.
The Scottish DJ/producer has released a glossy new music video for his latest single, “Summer,” featuring a bevy of beautiful women and a cameo appearance from big screen action hero, Jason Statham.
The clip features Harris hanging out on a stretch of desert road to take in a series of high-speed auto races, including one that pits him behind the wheel of a vintage Trans Am taking on Statham in their own open-road duel.
The day at the races is followed by a glitzy party, where Harris is seen looking cozy with one of the video’s numerous models at a massive mansion pool party complete with lasers, smoke machines and even more ladies popping champagne bottles in the revelry.
Models are an obvious theme throughout the clip, with multiple images of lingerie-clad girls cavorting around the mansion and pool liberally sprinkled between scenes of car races and blow-out parties.
“Summer” is the first single from Harris’ upcoming fourth solo album, which has yet to receive a release date or title. It will be his first full-length release since 2012’s 18 Months, which included the hit single “Feel So Close.”
In the meantime, Harris set to perform at this year’s edition of the Coachella music festival in the deserts of Indio, CA. The fest’s first weekend kicks off this Friday, April 11.
