In case you missed the memo, Rick Ross is all about living as as large as humanly possible.
For his new music video, “Rich is Gangsta,” Ross takes his lavish lifestyle overseas to Paris, France, where he stunts around the City of Light in the back of a plush Rolls Royce. He gets out of the car to recite the track’s verses at various landmarks, rocking Versace and keeping his neck heavy with a clutch of gold chains. The rapper also makes a point of flashing a clean pair of the highly-coveted Air Yeezy 2s.
“Rich is Gangsta” is the latest track pulled from Ross’ Mastermind, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in its first week of release in March. The song was produced by Black Metaphor, who utilizes a sample from famed ’70s Scottish R&B act Average White Band’s tune, “Soul Searching.”
Ross is playing a handful of U.S. tour dates over the coming months, including a show at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on June 28 alongside A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign and more as part of this year’s BET Experience.
