Bush Recording New Album in Dave Grohl’s Sound City Studio

By Scott T. Sterling

Gavin Rossdale and Bush have reconvened to record a brand new full-length, and the band is doing it in Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl‘s famous Studio 606 in Northside, CA, the subject of Grohl’s lauded 2013 documentary, Sound City.

According to Consequence of Sound, the band is working with producer Nick Raskulinecz on the new album, the band’s first since 2011 effort, The Sea of Memories. Raskulinecz is best known for his work with such rock heavyweights as Deftones, Evanescence, and Alice in Chains.

While Bush is best known for such ’90s hits as “Everything Zen” and “Glycerine,” the band has continued to see success in the new millennium. “The Sound of Winter,” the second single from The Sea of Memories, made history when it became the first self-released song to top Billboard‘s Alternative Songs chart.
