Lady Antebellum will be honored at next week’s 2014 GRAMMYs on the Hill Awards in Washington, D.C. The country trio will head to D.C. on April 2 where they will be given the Recording Artists’ Coalition Award.

“We are proud to honor Lady Antebellum for their artistry and inventiveness in the country arena as well as their philanthropic efforts to make a difference for disadvantaged children here and abroad,” Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow said in a release.

Held at Hamilton Live, the Hill Awards and the Recording Artists’ Coalition were founded by Don Henley and Sheryl Crow in 2000. With more than 150 recording artists as members, RAC addresses issues which include artist contract reform, media consolidation and artist compensation.

Often dubbed as “Washington’s most interesting mix of music and politics,” the event will also include live performances. Expected attendees include SESAC hit songwriters Gary Burr and Victoria Shaw, Dionne Warwick, Los Lonely Boys, Hanson, and Wesley Schultz of the Lumineers.

Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will also be honored for their support of musicians.
