One Direction audiophiles rejoice! The guys are finally releasing a piece of their catalogue on vinyl.
It’s all for this year’s Record Store Day on April 19, where the boy band will release a special, limited-edition vinyl of the title track off their latest album, Midnight Memories. Unfortunately, not the full album. Sorry.
But in addition to the limited-edition vinyl track, the record will also include a live version of “Rock Me” from 1D’s documentary One Direction: This Is Us.
Plus, for anyone wondering what the guys would look like as an ’80s hair metal band, the cover of the vinyl single provides a visual. Who knew Harry Styles’ hair could get any more voluminous.
While fans await the release of the boy band’s vinyl single, they can rest assured that new music is in the works. Last week, the guys revealed that they’re collaborating with Good Charlotte and Kodaline on their upcoming album.
No word on when their follow-up to 2013’s Midnight Memories will drop.
Their vinyl release will be available at select record stores on April 19.
