Every year, the Chicago Tribune gets a little bit of a jump on the Lollapalooza lineup. This year, The Tribune reports that Eminem, Skrillex, Arctic Monkeys and Kings of Leon will headline the Chicago music festival taking place August 1-3 in Grant Park.
Update: The full lineup has been revealed! Check out the complete list of performers below.
Single tickets for Lollapalooza are scheduled to are on sale now.
This follows last year’s headliners of Nine Inch Nails, The Killers, The Cure, and Mumford & Sons.
Both Eminem and Arctic Monkeys played the festival in 2011, Skrillex attended in 2012, and Kings of Leon last made their last appearance in 2009.
We don’t have the whole lineup yet, but the headliners seem like not only recent visitors to Lollapalooza, but nothing you can’t get anywhere else, either. This year, Coachella booked completely different headliners for their fest: OutKast, Muse, Arcade Fire, and Lorde top their bill. Which fest do you think will have a better lineup, once all is said and done? Is it too soon for these bands to come back and headline Lollapalooza?
