Keith Urban is the poster boy for T-shirt couture, so it makes perfect sense that the country singer and American Idol judge would launch his own T-shirt line.
“I’ve always loved cool, interesting T-shirts and wanted to share that passion, but only if I could do it in a fun, collaborative way — with social impact that can help make a difference,” he wrote on the website.
Urban partnered with Industrial Revolution II and artist Raphael Mazzucco for his line, which is appropriately titled line By Keith Urban. He explained that each T-shirt is “manufactured with the philosophy of reinvesting back into the communities and the team members.”
Urban’s line is a wide ranging collection that includes everything from mystic seahorse designs to a star spangled trailer, which looks exactly as you imagine it would (see below).
Each T-shirt runs $60, and the collection includes designs for both men and women.
This isn’t Urban’s first foray into selling his own personal collection. Last year, Urban announced his partnership with HSN to offer an affordable line of guitars.
The URBAN Guitar Collection includes two one-hour instructional DVDs and his first custom-created, limited-edition acoustic and electric guitar line. It also features two versions of the “Phoenix Edition” guitar – electric and acoustic/electric – which is available in multiple colors.
Part of a 21-piece set, the collection includes a custom amplifier, coated guitar strings, embroidered guitar strap, guitar picks and more.
