You might not want to invite Diddy to your next party. Over the weekend, the rapper was involved in two events where shootings took place, leaving three men injured.

On Saturday (March 2), Diddy performed at the Sheraton Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina alongside Future and Fabolous. According to the Charlotte Observer, two men were reportedly shot in the leg after an altercation in the VIP area of the party, which took place after the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association basketball tournament.

The local paper wrote that witnesses reported hearing three shots around 2 am, and thousands rushed out of the ballroom “leaving behind shoes, cigarette butts and liquor bottles.” In footage posted by attendees, partygoers are seen trampling over those who fell on their way out.

Police have not released the names of the victims or said whether they had any connection to Diddy. It has also not been released whether Diddy was present at the time of the shooting. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting as of now.

This was actually the second shooting that took place at an event where Diddy was present. The following night, Diddy hosted a listening party for Rick Ross’ new record, Mastermind, at Atlanta’s Velvet Room.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the club’s DJ was shot by two off-duty police officers who were responding to gunshots that were believed to be fired in the back of the club. When the officers responded “one subject turned toward them, firing shots,” the police stated. “They returned fire, hitting the subject in the leg.”

According to police, there is no evidence to believe Diddy or Ross had any connection to the shooting.
