The eye-popping new clip for collaboration track “I’m the One” rolls out a surreal scenario that features the two EDM artists and little kittens being left under the care of a babysitter, who’s also told under no circumstances to let a glowing-eyed cat from it’s cage.
While the sitter uses the money left for cat food to make a booze run, the video goes bonkers. Pairs of disembodied gloved hands magically emerge from a trunk, and proceed to instigate a melee of destruction, freeing the devil-cat from it’s cage to wreak havoc on a laptop computer. The mayhem evolves into a full-blown cat-powered stage show complete with a kitty band and dancers.
“Flux Pavilion and I have been waiting so long to put this song out!,” Dillion Francis said on SoundCloud late last year when the song was released. “We started it when I was on tour with him in the UK a year ago but finally we finished it and its coming out on his new EP. I hope you enjoy it.”
The release in question was Flux Pavilion’s Freeway EP, which came out last November and included collaborations with the likes of Steve Aoki and Turin Brakes as well as solo track, which is the title cut.
Among Flux Pavilion’s upcoming tour dates includes stops at Electric Daisy Carnival Mexico 2014 over the weekend of March 14-15 and this year’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, set for the weekend of April 5-6.
Dillon Francis, who’s currently holding down a residency at Surrender Nightclub in Las Vegas, is among the many acts scheduled to rock the California desert at the 2014 edition of Coachella, April 11-13 and April 18-20
