M83’s new song “I Need You” off the Divergent soundtrack is a cross between Bon Iver and Kenny G. And if that description doesn’t strike your fancy, we’re not sure what will.

On the track from the upcoming sci-fi film – hitting theaters on March 21 – the sweet piano ballad features Auto-Tuned vocals that sound more than a little like Bon Iver’s track “Beth/Rest” off his 2011 self-titled album. But the track hits its full ’80s power ballad potential when the sax solo kicks in. If the movie is anything like this song, it’s safe to say it’s going to be fantastic.

Listen to M83’s new song below.

The soundtrack, which drops March 11 via Interscope, features Zedd, Snow Patrol, Woodkid, Skrillex and Ellie Goulding, who lends her voice to three tracks including the new song “Beating Heart.”

The soundtrack also features collaborations between Pia Mia and Chance the RapperA$AP Rocky and French DJ Gesaffelstein and Tame Impala and Kendrick Lamar, who takes lead vocals on a version of the Aussie band’s song “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards,” which is now called “Backwards.”

This is not Gonzalez’s first time writing music for a film. He composed the score to the 2013 film, Oblivionstarring Tom Cruise and recently worked on the music for his brother Yann Gonzalez’s film, You and the Night.
