Pharrell has the No. 1 Rap/R&B song in the country right now with the deliriously positive “Happy.” Is the tear that falls down his cheek at the end of this trailer for his new album G I R L one of joy or one of sadness? Is this the real life version of the :’) emoticon?
More importantly, this new trailer reveals the cover art to G I R L and the release date of the album, March 3. That’s the cover art below.
The album will feature ten songs, however the only song confirmed for the album is “Happy”. Previously, Pharrell told the press that there’s going to be no rapping on the album. “It’s focused,” he said. “That’s the difference between 30 and 40. ’Cause I was 30, now I’m 40—and I’m not rapping.”
You can pre-order the album on iTunes and get a free download of “Happy”. Here’s the trailer for G I R L. Get happy/sad:
