America’s love affair with the pulse of EDM is still fresh compared to Europe’s longstanding dedication to dance music.
Which is why it comes as little surprise that the 2014 edition of the Tomorrowland dance music festival in the appropriately named city of Boom, Belgium sold out two weekends’ worth of tickets — 360,000 in all — in less than an hour.
According to Billboard, the 2013 version of the fest ran out of tickets in mere minutes, but that was before the international dance party expanded to dual weekends for the first time this year, July 18-20 and July 25-27.
The event promoters launched an American version of the festival, dubbed TomorrowWorld, in Chattahoochie Hills, GA, last year, which will return for a second time around this September 26-28. Tickets for the U.S. festival go on sale Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 PM ET.
