Here’s one more notch on Dave Grohl‘s belt: he’s got another band to goof around with and judging from its members, this will be one of the heaviest ones he’s done.
Teenage Time Killer will feature Grohl, Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor, Black Flag‘s Keith Morris, ex-Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri, Dead Kennedys’ Jello Biafra, Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe, and more. And more!
As The Dwarf reports (via Consequence of Sound), the project was spearheaded by Corrosion of Conformity and Teenage Time Killer members Reed Mullin and Mike Dean. Mullin described the music in a recent interview as “old hardcore punk, punk and metal stuff … People are going to be pleasantly surprised. It’s pretty cool.”
As for the “and more” part, the band will also feature Soulfly’s Max Cavalera, Neil Fallon of Clutch and members of The Misfits, Municipal Waste, Red Fang, My Ruin, Prong, Goatsnake, Brujeria and Articles Of Faith.
This may be the heaviest band of all time.
No word on a release date for the group’s material.
