St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) used a guest DJ spot at Los Angeles public radio station KCRW today (Feb. 5) to reveal new song “Prince Johnny,” off her forthcoming self-titled fourth studio album, due out Feb. 25.

Where previously released songs “Digital Witness” and “Birth in Reverse” found St. Vincent exploring horn-blasted dance beats and uptempo rhythms, “Prince Johnny” is a much moodier affair, with a ghostly choir and a thick, hip-hop thump underneath her soaring, melodic vocals.

Clark’s latest release will be her first new full-length since collaborating with former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne on 2012 album, Love This Giant. The two followed up the album with a joint tour and the 2013 EP, Brass Tactics. Clark’s last solo album, Strange Mercy, came out in 2011.

St. Vincent kicks off a North American tour the day after the album is released, February 26, in New York City.

The artist, who last year received the Smithsonian’s American Ingenuity Award, recently showed off her stellar soccer skills in a very entertaining video clip for Rookie magazine.
