Dierks Bentley & OneRepublic to Play CMT Crossroads

Dierks Bentley is teaming up with rock band OneRepublic for the next edition of CMT Crossroads, set to air in mid-March on CMT. This will be the first time they have collaborated together.

The series, which brings together artists from different genres for an hour-long special that airs on CMT, has in the recent past included such pairings as The Band Perry with Fall Out Boy, Rascal Flatts with Journey, Carrie Underwood with Stephen Tyler and Luke Bryan with the Doobie Brothers.

Bentley’s appearance on the show coincides with the release of his new album Riser, which is due in stores Feb. 25. Bentley then begins his Riser Tour in Charlotte, N.C. on May 9.

Though the guys in OneRepublic are working with Bentley for the first time during this program, this isn’t the group’s first time intersecting with country artists. Last summer, for instance, singer Ryan Tedder appeared alongside Reba, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and others as part of Blake Shelton‘s Healing in the Heartland benefit for Oklahoma tornado victims.

OneRepublic begins its Native Summer Tour on May 28 at Red Rocks near Denver, Colorado.
