Among the hottest new groups in country right now is the duo of Dan + Shay, who are rising on on the country singles charts thanks to their catchy single “19 You + Me.” The song is thei first-ever single, and it will appear on their upcoming debut album, which is set for release this year.

Now Dan + Shay have released a video for the song, too. Watch it below:

Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney met in late 2012 and started writing songs together almost immediately. They released “19 You + Me” in October of 2013 (cowritten with Danny Orton), and right away it was added in large numbers to country radio playlists, a move that signified great interested in the previously little-known duo.

The harmonies Smyers and Mooney create together are a huge part of their appeal — you’d almost think they were brothers and had been singing together far more than just a single year. Their voices blend beautifully, too, on the breezy pop melody that propels “19 You + Me,” a song about a summer romance in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

This year, in addition to seeing their debut album released, Dan + Shay have been invited to perform as an opening act on Blake Shelton‘s 2014 Ten Times Crazier Tour, which kicks off in June. The tour also features The Band Perry and Neal McCoy.
