The Daytona 500 is set to take place next month (Feb. 23), and headlining the pre-show festivities at the annual racing event is one of the biggest stars on the current country landscape, Luke Bryan.

The “Drink a Beer” singer and current ACM Entertainer of the Year will perform prior to the start of the 56th annual race, which as in years past serves as the season-opening event to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

“We’re thrilled to have a talented artist such as Luke Bryan perform prior to the start of the Daytona 500,” Daytona International Speedway President Joie Chitwood III said. “We’re expecting Luke to put on an exhilarating show that will energize our race fans as we kick off the new NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.”

Artists who’ve previously performed during the Daytona 500 pre-show include Zac Brown Band, Lenny Kravitz, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Bon Jovi.

Last week, Bryan began his That’s My Kind of Night Tour, a large-scale North American trek that includes stops at a handful of NFL stadiums.
