When they’re not throwing surprise performances on New York City transit buses or curing heart patients, Seattle-based duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are rooting for hometown team the Seahawks.

This weekend, the Seattle team will be battling against the San Francisco 49ers during the NFC Championship game for a shot at the Super Bowl. The GRAMMY-nominated group will not only be attending the game at CenturyLink Field in Seattle on Sunday (Jan. 19), but performing at halftime. The duo announced their gig during an animated video. Watch here.

No strangers to the Seahawks, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ support of the team can be seen in their music videos. In “White Walls,” Macklemore wears Cortez Kennedy’s No. 96 jersey, while they paid tribute to late Seattle Mariners broadcaster Dave Niehaus on “My Oh My.”

The Seahawks are well aware of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, as the duo’s GRAMMY-nominated “Can’t Hold Us” is heard after every Seahawks touchdown, no doubt a compliment to the Seattle-based group.

A week after they play CenturyLink Field, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will hit the GRAMMYs where they’re nominated for seven awards.

Watch the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards on January 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
