Things don’t look so good for Lea Michele at the beginning of her “Cannonball” video. Alone in what looks to be a dark, leaky attic, Michele is stuck inside.

As the walls start to fall, sunlight glares in to reveal Michele in happier spirits as she sings, “I got this new beginning and I’ll fly like a cannonball.” Watch the Robert Hales-directed clip below.

“Cannonball” is the lead single off the Glee actress’ forthcoming debut, Louder, out March 4 through Columbia Records. Last month she dropped another new song, “Battlefield.”

Louder really encompasses my experiences over this past year and my journey as an artist up to this point,” Michele said in a press release. “There’s a lot of emotion but it’s also very encouraging and hopeful — it’s about pushing forward and living your life in a way that’s louder, stronger and bolder. I’m so excited to share this new side of me with my fans.”

In addition to working on her forthcoming release, Michele is gearing up for a busy season, as Glee will celebrate its 100th episode on March 18.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gwyneth Paltrow is in talks to reprise her role as a substitute teacher on a two-part episode, airing March 18 and 25. Meanwhile, Chace Crawford reportedly also signed on for the 100th episode, which will also feature 10 new remixes of the show’s greatest hits voted by fans.

Glee returns on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET starting Feb. 25.
