Hear St. Vincent’s Glitchy New Track ‘Digital Witness’

St. Vincent already gave us a taste of her new self-titled album  – out February 25 — with “Birth in Reverse,” but now she’s teasing us with more.

This morning (Jan. 6), the singer (real name: Annie Clark) released the second single off her upcoming LP, “Digital Witness,” that has her singing, “Give me all of your mind/ I want all of your mind,” over a bevy of horns and some glitchy guitar. Sort of sounds like you’re longing onto AOL with a 56K modem, if you’re into that kind of thing.

Her fourth self-titled LP was recorded in Dallas with Dap-Kings drummer Homer Steinweiss and Midlake percussionist McKenzie Smith. Clark’s said that with this new album she “wanted to make a party record you could play at a funeral.”

St. Vincent kicks off a North American tour the day after the album is released, February 26, in New York City.
