Chris Brown‘s 2013 is one for the court ledger.

Yesterday, a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge revoked Brown’s probation for the second time this year. This time, it was the result of his arrest after suspicion of a misdemeanor assault in Washington D.C. He must complete rehab and community labor requirements which include roadside cleanup and graffiti removal.

According to CBS DC, Brown was accused of allegedly punching and breaking a man’s nose outside of the W Hotel when a man tried to get a picture of the singer. In the report, Parker Isaac Adams, 20, said Brown told him, “I’m not down with that gay s—” and “I feel like boxing.” Brown and his bodyguard went on to allegedly hit the man.

Brown is to return to a DC court on Jan. 8 for his October misdemeanor charge.

In October, Brown checked himself into rehab after he spent time in jail from the assault charge. He was then kicked out of rehab after he threw a rock through a window in his mother’s car after a joint counseling session where she said Brown should stay in rehab.

This is the second time this year Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin has revoked Brown’s probation. In July, Brown’s probation was revoked after he received three misdemeanor charges after an alleged hit-and-run in May. He was caught driving without a license and insurance information. At the time of the accident he was already facing a probation violation after not completing community service from his 2009 assault conviction.

Brown is to return to court on Feb. 10 for an update on his progress in rehab. He was originally ordered to serve five years of probation after his attack on Rihanna in 2009.
