At this year’s American Music Awards ceremony (Nov. 24), show host Pitbull united with Ke$ha for a raucous and over-the-top performance of their collaboration, “Timber.” The first live performance of the lead single from Pitbull’s recently released Meltdown EP utilized a sea of dancers and endless waves of pyrotechnics.

Today (Nov. 25), the pair have followed the fiery AMAs performance with the official music video for “Timber,” which echoes the awards show performance in more ways than one.

The “Timber” video is actually two clips in one. Pitbull is shown partying in the Bahamas, cavorting with with a model on the beach as well as on a boat checking out sharks. Ke$ha is seen in the same cowgirl outfit (complete withDaisy Dukes) and two-toned hairstyle from the AMAs, as she parties in a country-western bar with a gang of beautiful dancers with the sexy turned up to ten.
