Are you looking for love in all the rave places? EDM-Date.Com is here to help you make that special connection with someone who shares your same penchant for pulsing beats, filthy bass, and candy hearts.
A dating site for EDM fans is actually surprisingly overdue, given the current cultural dominance of dance music and large-scale raves among wide crops of American youth. Then again, with all of the heightened serotonin and general lack of clothing found at most raves, who needs the internet?
A quick perusal of the site’s “Hot Members” page turns up a 24-year-old female who “love to raves, been doing it since 2010. If you don’t love EDM, this isn’t going to work out,” she says. “Looking for a boyfriend, not a hookup.”
Then there’s the 18-year-old male in Amarillo, Texas, who lets it be known that “I’m very easy going and well-grounded. If we would chill, it would probably consist of us smoking some bud, playing some video games, and sometimes some beer-pong.” He’s currently between jobs.
The site is sure to provide some dating guidelines (“Remember to be honest in what you write. You’ll get found out sooner or later if you’re 44 years old, married with 3 kids and you’ve said that you’re 24 and single. Not cool man!”), and reminds users to be proactive to make the most of the service: “You have to be in it to win it.”
We’ve already seen couples get married at Electric Daisy Carnival — can the first married couple whose love blossomed on EDM-Date.com be far behind?
