It was a for a segment called “Around the World with Ron Burgundy” for the MTV EMAs, which aired last night (Nov. 10). Of course, Burgundy, who is promoting his upcoming film, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (out December 20), does all the talking while the French electronic duo stay quiet and helmeted.
But it does seem like the guys of Daft Punk do manage to get lucky with some Dutch ladies. While each wearing their own pair of clogs, of course.
Daft Punk are gearing up to release the deluxe box set edition of Random Access Memories in December. The $275 expanded set comes in a cloth-bound box that includes a 180 gram double vinyl with gold and silver foil labels, a 56-page book of photos from the recording sessions, a 70mm motion picture film strip with scenes from the “Lose Yourself to Dance” music video, stickers and posters of their robot gear, a gold and silver plated USB containing the audio and videos from RAM, along with a collector’s edition vinyl featuring an expanded interview with Giorgio Moroder.
