Los Angeles alternative rock station KROQ (a Radio.com station) announced the second night of their 24th Annual Almost Acoustic Christmas concert this morning (Nov. 11). It features Arcade Fire, Phoenix, The Neighbourhood, Capital Cities, Lorde, Portugal. The Man, Fitz And The Tantrums, Atlas Genius and Bastille.

After its home venue Universal Studio’s Gibson Amphitheatre was torn down this summer to make way for a new Harry Potter attraction, the station quickly found a new home in Los Angeles’ historic 6,300 seat Shine Auditorium. The two-night charity concert will take place December 7-8 with tickets going on sale this Friday at 12:00 p.m. PT via Ticketmaster.

With tickets to night one selling out in less than 40 minutes on Friday, night two is anticipated to sellout equally as fast, given Arcade Fire’s ability to pack venues equally as large just by themselves. The band played exclusive shows in recent weeks as their alter egos, The Reflektors, sending frenzied fans on a hunt for tickets in Brooklyn, Miami and L.A.

The line-up for night one includes Kings Of Leon, Vampire Weekend, Queens of the Stone Age, AFI, Arctic Monkeys, Cage The Elephant, Grouplove, New Politics and Foals. Tickets for the sold out show are commanding more than $500 a pair on the secondary market.

Proceeds from the 24th Annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas will benefit Para Los Niños and the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center.
