The Killers have released “Just Another Girl,” the second new song to be included on the band’s forthcoming greatest hits package, Direct Hits (due for release November 11).

The uptempo track is heavy with acoustic guitars, as frontman Brandon Flowers laments a lost love over a soaring, synth-heavy chorus (“All of my friends say/I should move on/All of my friends say/She’s just another girl/Then why can’t I sleep at night?/And why don’t the moon look right?”). While the only other new song on Direct Hits — “Shot at the Night” — was recorded with Anthony Gonzalez of M83, “Just Another Girl” was created with longtime Killers associate Stuart Price, who remixed early singles like “Mr. Brightside” and produced 2008’s Day & Age.

“I always say Stuart is my brother,” Flowers recently told “I knew it right away when I met him. He’s just one of the most musical guys I’ve ever met. We share a lot of the same loves when it comes to synthesizer bands and things like that.”

“I feel like this puts a long of things in perspective,” Flowers continued of Direct Hits. “When I look at it, I’m really proud of it, but I’m also really excited about evolving and growing. I look at the songs that maybe are my favorites on it, and maybe I’m wondering if I need to conjure up those spirits, if they’re still in there.”
