Beatles fans have been waiting for nearly a decade for a new volume of recordings of the band’s performances on the BBC. Now, the band and their record label is offering fans a sample of those recordings, a week before they’ll hit retailers.
As previously reported, the Beatles’ On Air — Live at the BBC Volume 2, the follow-up to 1994’s Live At The BBC, will be out on November 11. You can listen to previews of the tracks from the album via the player below. However, the Beatles are very conservative when it comes to posting their music online, and they rarely offer full songs. They only offer an excerpt of the songs (and even the “banter” tracks), not the full thing. Their YouTube page is also filled with clips that are less than a minute, offering an excerpt of a song, but not the full thing.

On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2 contains 63 tracks total, including 37 previously unreleased performances and 23 previously unreleased recordings of in-studio banter and conversation between the band’s members and their BBC radio hosts.
