Adam Lambert lives up to his Glambert nickname in a preview for his upcoming spot on Glee, which has him out Gaga-ing Mother Monster herself.

On the episode called “A Katy or a Gaga,” which airs Nov. 7, Lambert does his own rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Marry the Night” from her 2011 album, Born This Way. For an episode that asks you to pledge your allegiance to Katy Perry’s “Roar” or Gaga’s ARTPOP, Lambert shows he’s Team Gaga all the way with a spot-on take of the dance-ready track. (Listen below.)

For his role as Elliot “Starchild,” Lambert says he reused some of his past fashion don’ts, tweeting, “Think in some ways it’s kind of a parody of some of my past fashion (steps and MISsteps)” noting that Elliot’s look is a “tacky and doesn’t fit well.”

But, Lambert tweeted that he thinks there’s something charming about the guy’s look, “I def see myself in this character. In critics eyes I’ve oft missed the mark, but in my own world, I’ve had a great time playing dress up.”

On the episode, Lambert is also reportedly putting his own spin on Gaga’s “Applause.” And it seems from the look of the photo below, complete with the hashtag #ARTPOP, that Lambert is channeling Gaga’s mermaid look from the ARTPOP single’s video.

After putting all the focus on both Katy and Gaga this week, the Glee gang plans to bring some attention to Miley Cyrus with an episode called “The End of Twerking,” airing Nov. 14.
