Last night (October 24), Pearl Jam finally hit the stage at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to celebrate the week named in their honor.

For the band’s first appearance during Pearl Jam Week–they’re set to take the stage again tonight–they offered up Sirens,” the first single off their recently released album, Lightning Bolt.

On the track, Vedder crooned about the fragility of life, offering up lines like, “This life has been a light and I can see clear/
Oh, I have to take your hand and feel your breath.”
