Ohio-by-way-of-outer-space rapper Kid Cudi has long made it be known that he does not take kindly to stage invasions of any kind during his concerts.

In 2009, he was kicked off an opening slot on Lady Gaga‘s “Monster’s Ball” tour after punching fan Michael Sharpe in the face at a Vancouver show for throwing a wallet onstage. Cudi would later apologize to Sharpe, going on to bring him onstage during a performance at the 2010 Sasquatch Music Festival.

Cudi literally struck again during a Cleveland homecoming show in 2010, when he pursued a stage-crashing fan offstage to physically accost him for the invasion.

Now, the “Pursuit of Happiness” rapper has again been forced to defend his onstage territory by brusquely shoving a stage-crasher into the wings during a show at Houston’s Reliant Arena  on his current “The Cud Life” tour.

The October 15 incident occurred as Cudi was performing the song “Cudi Zone” from his 2009 debut album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day. As seen in the video above, Cudi was engrossed in the performance when he noticed the fan approaching him from the side of the stage. Without hesitation, Cudi aggressively shoved the stage invader backwards twice, causing him to hit the deck. The rapper stood over the man until a security guard rushed over to handle the situation as Cudi returned to the performance, saying “not on my watch” as he walked back to the front of the stage.

The only date currently remaining on the tour is tonight (Oct. 18) at the Cedar Park Center in Cedar Park, Texas.
