It’s starting to look a lot like a Justin Bieber Christmas, as the controversial pop star has announced “Music Mondays,” a 10-week series of brand new songs. A different track will be released weekly starting this month (October) and stretching into December.

According to Billboard, the first song in the series will be “Heartbreaker,” which is set to be revealed this Sunday night (Oct. 6) at the stroke of midnight. Bieber teased the song back in June of this year, posting images to his Instagram account that appear to show the cover art for the “Heartbreaker” single.

Bieber’s high-profile manager, Scooter Braun, also took to his own Instagram account this week (Oct. 2) to post the alleged “Heartbreaker” cover image of a crushed purple heart with the caption, “So it begins…. #sunday #midnight #10weeks #musicmondays – expect the unexpected.”

This new series of songs comes in the same year that Bieber has already released an album, Believe Acoustic, which featured three new songs in addition to acoustic and live versions of songs from his last studio full-length, 2012′s Believe.

Braun also appealed to the pop star’s rabid base of “Beliebers” on Twitter with a nugget of potentially major information that Justin Bieber will be releasing a “special movie” this Christmas.

The “Music Mondays” announcement comes on the heels of more good news for the Bieber camp, as it was revealed this week that the singer will not be facing charges for allegedly threatening (and attempting to spit on) a neighbor who claimed Bieber was speeding through their Calabasas, CA, neighborhood. According to the prosecutor Alan Yochelson, there was not enough evidence to pursue the case.
