Watch Usher and the ‘Sesame Street’ Gang Sing the Alphabet Song

The Sesame Street gang is so hot right now.

Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and all of the Sesame Street favorites recently appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to celebrate the legendary TV show’s 44th anniversary by singing the theme song with Fallon’s house band, the Roots.

Now, R&B singer Usher has made his way to the Sesame Street studios to sing a fun (and funky) version of the alphabet song with Grover, Elmo and more.

The infectious, upbeat take on the tune features Usher and the show characters grooving to the hand-clap beat, creating a song that’s sure to hit heavy rotation on many young children’s personal playlists. Given Usher’s gleaming charm and the catchy nature of the tune, more than a few parents are sure to enjoy it as well.

Usher recently popped up alongside fellow musical heavyweights Pharrell Williams and T.I. in a picture sent out on Instagram by 2013 breakout producer and Miley Cyrus‘ rumored love interest, Mike Will Made It. The photo shows the artists posing together in a recording studio, which according to Complex could very well be from sessions for Mike Will Made It’s upcoming debut full-length, Est. In 1989 Pt. 3, suggesting an all-star collaboration of epic proportions.
