Rihanna is known for posting loads of sexy selfies to her Instagram that sometimes lead to controversy. On Friday (September 22), one of her selfies lead to two arrests in Thailand.
The singer took a shot of herself with a primate called the slow loris. Turns out, the animal is protected in the country.
“Phuket authorities were alerted to the picture (of Rihanna), and last night police arrested the two individuals who brought out the loris as a photo opportunity for tourists,” a Phuket district chief, Weera Kerdsirimongkon, said to the Telegraph.
Rihanna posted photos of herself with some other Thailand wildlife, of the unprotected variety on the same day, followed by several days of beach bathing suit shots.
The lories, who were being illegally used for in photos with tourists, were confiscated.
