Britney Spears

Sin City, make room for Britney Spears because this winter she wants to give you a little piece of herself.

After revealing earlier this week she would be heading to Las Vegas for a two-year residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, Britney officially announced that her new show, Britney: Piece of Me, would kick off on December 27.

Her residency will span two years and include 50 shows each year, with the option to extend her run. As of now she’s announced 16 shows that run until February 22.  Check out the full list of tour dates here.

Tickets go on-sale today (September 20) at 10 am PST.

Though she hasn’t given much detail of what one can expect of her new live show, Planet Hollywood is hyping it up by letting fans know the venue houses “the world’s largest indoor projection theater and offers an explosive, theatrical experience.” Perhaps there is plans to see Britney in 3-D?

Along with her upcoming Vegas residency, Brit Brit will release her 8th album on December 3. Though the album is still untitled, she’s already given fans a taste of what to expect with her first single, “Work Bitch,” written by will.i.am.

Not to mention, she’ll lend her voice to Miley Cyrus‘ album Bangerz, out October 8. Worlds colliding.
