Lady Gaga’s high-profile trek across the Atlantic to England culminated tonight (Sept. 1) when she debuted a clutch of new songs from her upcoming album, ARTPOP, to kick off the month-long iTunes Festival at London’s Roundhouse.

According to MTV News, the new tracks Gaga revealed included “Swine,” “ManiCure,” “Sex Dreams,” “ARTPOP” and “Jewels & Drugs,” the latter being the artist’s first foray into hip-hop with a “trap-like” number featuring rappers Twista, T.I. and Bay Area legend Too Short, who strolled onto the Roundhouse stage to deliver his verse live.

T.I. had also been slated to appear, but an alleged visa issued scuttled the trip, forcing him to make his cameo on video.

Much like her appearance on the 2013 MTV Music Awards to perform first ARTPOP single, “Applause,” the show was rife with costume and wig changes, including a creepy pig theme for “Swine,” complete with Gaga sporting a bedazzled snout and her dancers wearing pig-faced gas masks while flying above the stage (an homage to Roger Waters, perhaps?) for the “industrial dance pop” song.

Also among the new tunes was an unidentified “power ballad” that found Gaga alone at the keyboard singing such lines as “I’d rather be poor and happy than rich and alone … I’ll keep on singin for a living/But I want to be in love/And I wanna be with you.”

The show was Gaga’s first since she was forced to abandon her Born This Way Ball earlier this year due to a hip injury that required the pop star have surgery. The ARTPOP album, Gaga’s third full-length studio effort, is set for release on November 11.
