Yeezy fans, fear not. Kanye West will tour behind Yeezus.

During an AMA session with Reddit, Mike Dean, one of the producers of Yeezus, confirmed that West will tour behind the album, which dropped Tuesday.

Dean, a longtime Kanye collaborator who was particularly well-featured on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, is listed as one of the chief producers on three Yeezus tracks (“I Am a God,” “Hold My Liquor” and “Guilt Trip”).

The confirmation was simple. In the thread, Reddit user defrio29 asked, among other things, if there would be a Yeezus tour and whether or not Dean, who was one of the onstage performers during Kanye’s Coachella and Governors Ball sets, would be a backing performer. His answer? “Yes and yes.”

The news that West will tour behind his latest album is of course intriguing because his last solo album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, had its accompanying tour with Lady Gaga cancelled without reason, leaving Kanye to play just a handful of live shows behind the album. ‘Ye took a year off before heading out on the road with Jay-Z in support of the duo’s Watch the Throne record.

News of a tour should certainly enthrall a great number of people; Yeezus has been called “the most important record of the year” and has received an absurd amount of attention, from its array of musical influences to its defiant lyrical content.

Just today, Kanye released an absurdly long list of Yeezus collaborators on his website,

According to Billboard, Yeezus could sell 500,000 copies in its first week, making it one of the biggest-selling albums of 2013.
