The Rolling Stones have been showcasing some notable guests during their 50 & Counting tour, including quite a few country artists, including Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Sheryl Crow. Last night (June 18) in Philadelphia, the Stones’ guest was another country music superstar–Brad Paisley.

The song they chose, too, was one of the group’s most unabashedly twangy numbers, “Dead Flowers,” from 1971’s Sticky Fingers.

Mick Jagger shared vocals with Paisley, and even strapped on an acoustic guitar for the occasion; then Paisley and Ron Wood shared a guitar solo.

The song came early in the Stones’ set last night, right after another of the group’s more country-flavored songs, “Wild Horses” (which also appeared on Sticky Fingers, and actually first saw the light of day a year before that on a Flying Burrito Brothers album, thanks to Keith Richards’ friendship with Burrito bandleader Gram Parsons).

The Stones’ full Philly setlist below, via their Twitter.

The North American 50 & Counting Tour winds down this month, with another show in Philadelphia (June 21) followed by one in Washington, D.C. (June 24).
