Queens Of The Stone Age continue their apocalyptic video series to preview their upcoming album, …Like Clockwork, with two new clips that feature their lonely masked character.

For their latest, “If I Had A Tail,” an evil version of Speed Racer takes to the street with his blood-stained windshield. Throwing Molotov cocktails at anyone in his path, he causes destruction for everyone else on the road. But the shady driver gets his when a masked motorcyclist attempts to burn him down.

Of course, in this post-apocalyptic town no one’s a hero. Instead the clip ends with the message, “The world is f****** nigh.” Watch the video below.

But our masked cyclist doesn’t stop there. In the video for “Keep Your Eyes Peeled,” we see our masked rider going for a drink at the local watering hole, Prehab. There he meets up with a few apocalyptic causalities, taking them to task.

This clip is certainly not for the faint of heart (also, NSFW). One guy gets a rod through the head, while another says goodbye to his teeth as his jaw gets clamped down on the table’s edge. But once the bar’s cook — a mutant pig wearing an adorable “Kiss The Cook” apron — shows up, it’s clear this masked rider won’t be enjoying Prehab’s happy hour. Watch the clip below.

The band has been rolling out their new album in a rather unusual way. From releasing a series of mysterious letters to the announcement of cover art and tracklisting to a video of a spinning record, a new website (likeclockwork.tv), a creepy interactive phone service and a series of animated videos from visual artists Boneface and Liam Brazier.

According to Boneface, the video series “tell the story of a lonely character, traveling through a city without salvation,” and the four released clips, including  “I Appear Missing” and “Kalopsia,”  seem to fit the theme perfectly.

…Like Clockwork is set for release June 3 via Matador.
