Lady Antebellum’s new video for “Goodbye Town” takes a sad look at the one who got away.

On the song, which appears on Lady A’s brand new album Golden, singer Charles Kelley waxes poetic about his high school sweetheart who managed to get out of the small town where they grew up.

In the blue-tinted clip, Kelley takes us on a tour of the town. He shows us where they had their first kiss under the football bleachers; and we see the courthouse steps, where so many others got married right out of high school.

While his lady was able to get out quick, he’s struggling to leave, singing, “The streets are only bringing me down/Gotta find a way to finally get out.”

Eventually we see his grown-up ladylove. Is she really back in town? Or just haunting Kelley’s dreams? Watch to find out.

Golden is available now on iTunes.
