Courtney Love’s East Coast Tour Runs Short

Courtney Love, the lead singer of ‘90s alt-rock heroes Hole (and current Saint Laurent model), has scheduled a short run of concerts in the northeastern U.S., with headlining shows in New York, Boston and Philadelphia among them.

According to Brooklyn Vegan, Love has set seven shows, four of which will feature Brooklyn band Starred as the opening act. There are scant details regarding the tour so far, but tickets have already gone on sale for the show at the Warsaw venue in Brooklyn, with tickets for the remaining dates being made available over the coming weekend.

Love reunited with members of the classic ‘90s Hole lineup at New York’s Public Assembly last April for a performance following the premiere of Hit So Hard, a documentary about former Hole drummer Patty Schemel.

The singer debuted her first official solo show at this year’s Sundance film festival in Utah, where she performed a cover version of Jay-Z’s 2004 hit single, “99 Problems.”
