The investigation culminated yesterday when Lambesis solicited an undercover detective to kill his wife. The 32 year old metal singer was then arrested, transported to the Encinitas Station, and booked into the Vista Detention Facility.

I love the crowds here in Asia and the Pacific. Great shows in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand so far! Just landed in Hong Kong.—

Founded in 2000, the Grammy-nominated As I Lay dying is widely revered by fans as a Christian metal band. Lambesis addressed the band’s beliefs their website; “All five of us are Christians. I believe that change should start with me first, and as a result, our lyrics do not come across very ‘preachy.’ Many of our songs are about life, struggles, mistakes, relationships and other issues that don’t fit entirely in the spiritual category. However, all of these topics are written about through my perspective as a Christian.”
As I Lay Dying is currently scheduled to set out in June on a lengthy domestic tour in support of their sixth studio album, Awakened. The band is to be joined by metalcore heavyweights Killswitch Engage along with Miss May I and Affiance.
