Michael Bublè is good at singing about love, but is he good at giving love advice?

Radio.com put Bublè, whose new album To Be Loved is out today (April 23), to the test. Using pop songs from the likes of Taylor Swift, The Lumineers and One Direction as inspiration, we asked him to share his opinion on a few pressing love matters including, “Do guys really want girls who don’t know what makes them beautiful?” Plus the age-old question, “Who wrote the book of love?” which — spoiler alert — Bublè was finally able to reveal exclusively to us.

And, inspired by the insights of Justin Timberlake, we had to know, “Do you need to be on your suit & tie s*** to get a woman?” What the crooner has to say about that one might surprise you. Watch below.

Bublè is certainly a good person to ask when it comes to matters of the heart. Out of the 14 songs on the dad-to-be’s latest album, his first since 2011’s Christmas, five songs include the word “love” in the title. That being said, the album’s lead single, the Bublè-penned “It’s A Beautiful Day,” is an upbeat break-up song that kisses off a no-good ex.

Fans shouldn’t read too much into the song’s message, though. “I found happiness, in every way,” Bublè told Radio.com. “In my personal life, becoming a father and I think as a musician, trusting myself and my instincts.”

From writing his own songs to sharing a duet with Reese Witherspoon, watch Bublè discuss his To Be Loved below.
