Just days after Justin Bieber made headlines for his visit to the Anne Frank House, and writing in the guest book that “hopefully she would have been a Belieber,” the Biebs is at it again.

Bieber posted an illustration of himself on Instagram shirtless while a girl labeled “Belieber,” also topless, lies on him. While Beliebers couldn’t happier about the photo, others are questioning his latest antics.

“When it seemed that Bieber the petulant pop star may just have matured into Bieber the wizened and mature artist, he posts the pompous and vain Instagram photo, proving once again that is he, and not always the media, who is the childish one,” The Daily Beast reporter Kevin Fallon wrote.

This incident is just the latest the ongoing saga of Bieber headlines in recent months. From his monkey seized by German officials, being investigated on battery charges, and a heated altercation with a photographer, the singer seems to be headed for disaster.

He does have support though from his Beliebers, fellow artists and even Anne Frank’s family members.

New Kids on the Block’s Jordan Knight thinks the media should lay off Bieber.

“What they didn’t show was what the paparazzi was saying to him before he went in,” Knight told Boston radio station Mix 104.1 of Bieber’s altercation with a photographer. “[TMZ] go around with their cameras and ask you stupid questions or something that will make you mad.”

Anne Frank’s stepsister agrees, chiding the media for being “childish” in their reactions to Bieber’s comments about her relative.

“It’s so childish,” Eva Schloss told U.K. newspaper The Telegraph. “She probably would have been a fan. Why not? He’s a young man and she was a young girl, and she liked film stars and music.”

Though it seems Bieber has only been in the news for controversy, this isn’t the complete case. The singer is close to breaking a record for granting the most wishes in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. J-14 Magazine claims he has made 90 wishes come true as of 2012, while his manager Scooter Braun claims that number is more than any other musician.
