Fergie channels her previous “Glamorous” days for her song off the upcoming soundtrack for The Great Gatsby.

With help from Q-Tip and GoonRock, the Black Eyed Pea songstress heeds a few words of (bad) advice for Jay Gatsby on “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got).”

The song combines the big band horns of the Roaring Twenties with the thumping EDM beats of today, courtesy of GoonRock, who has worked with Kanye West, Dr. Dre and Ne-Yo. Doing her best jazz singer impression, Fergie swears, “A little party never killed nobody/So we’re gonna dance until we drop.”

Q-Tip also chimes in with a rousing welcome rap that explores the layout of this extremely swanky gathering where “you don’t see one person sitting down.” We’ll assume that his vow to make “you realize I’m your man” by the end of the night, is specifically intended for Daisy Buchanan. Listen below.

The Jay-Z-produced soundtrack, out May 7, also features music from Gotye, Florence & The Machine, Emile Sande, Jack White and Beyoncé, who covers Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black” with help from OutKast’s André 3000.

Listen to a 30-second snippet of all 12 songs featured on the album below.

The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardio DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan, hits theaters May 10.
