Among the five Entertainer of the Year nominees at this year’s ACM Awards, Luke Bryan was the underdog. This was, after all, his first time nominated in that category, and he has only just begun touring as a headliner. Yet the “Drunk On You” hitmaker surprised everyone by winning the coveted award.

Get the lowdown on Luke, including what he had to say backstage at the awards, in this week’s country edition of Rewind.

Rewind also covers other key category winners at the 48th annual ACMs, as well as some of the night’s top performances, which included songs by Eric Church, The Band Perry, George Strait, Garth Brooks, and one of the most legendary R&B singers of all time.

In addition, hear what Brad Paisley has to say about his latest single “Beat This Summer” from his brand-new album Wheelhouse.

Rewind is a weekly exclusive focusing on music news, album and single releases, tour updates, and more. The country edition is hosted by Annie Reuter. See past editions of Rewind on
